Resourcing or resource production covers everything related to acquiring, processing, and producing raw material products. This is a federally operated industry, with very strict regulations in place for logging, mining, and related occupations. It is not possible for citizens to start their own operation, but it's not illegal to chop down a few trees or dig up some rocks. Vythrosa a Proxus oversees the industry to maintain accurate records; they must keep track of material being harvested and how much of what remains to prevent shortages. The great thing about working in this field is that it comes with great benefits.

Like agriculture, a good number of the more labor intensive roles end up being filled by PZHs. For the Vythrosans that thrive in intense, physically demanding jobs, this is an industry to consider. A considerable amount of faelthros from the Gh Tol clan have taken to careers in this field, fitting in well due to their natural hardiness and interest in physical work. However, a lot of the process is industrialized, so workers are more likely to operate the machinery that do the hard parts as opposed to picking up a pickax themselves.

Several jobs fit under the resource production umbrella:

• Mining and quarrying (ore, mineral, rock, etc) - manually extracting resources or operating mining rigs
• Forestry (logging, tree farms, conservation) - chopping trees, producing timber, sustainable wood production
• Extraction (oil and well drilling, gas, salt, etc) - operating oil rigs, well creation, and extracting raw materials from the planet
• Refinery (mill work, metallurgy, oil refining, etc) - processing raw materials into usable forms for various industries
